I dont often right on religeous issues in my blog, preferring those articles to go to www.hebrew-roots.com.  However, in this case, there is an overlap between my views on religion and my views on politics.  Since this site covers many topics and is not non-profit in nature, this site is better suited for this particular topic.

Recently Barak Hussein Obama removed the ban on Embryonic StemCell Research.  Please bear in mind that there was never a ban on Stem Cell Research itself.  We already have a large number of embryonic stem cells in research that we can replicate.  Also, we currently have learned to alter other cells to be more like stem cells.

This move allows for the destruction of potential human life for research to alleviating pain and suffering in other humans

In other words:

Children are being sacrificed so that others may have a better tomorrow.

This is the same logical path that abortion follows:

"Now just isn't a good time to have a baby"

"A baby would interfere with my life"

"I don't want to be anchorred down"

dly, the Bible describes this same logical path.  It describes a group of people who offer up their children to idols so that they will have good crops for the next year.

These people KILLED their children, usually new borns, so that their lives would be easier.

So, tell me, what is different?

A child is going to die so that some one can have a better life.

edical research.

"How will a body react if we do this to it?"

"Where are all the organs and are they the same in all people?

"How do organs and operate while alive"

"How do certain mediactions work?"

"How do certain infections affect the human body?"

And more...

Some of those were infants and children, many were adults.  The one thing they have in common with these emryos is that their lives were sacrificed without consent.  The information gathered from their sacrifice may have saved the lives of others.  The information gathered mayhave eased the suffering of many more.

At what point does the ends justify the means?  Is there a point at which it is no longer pos

sible to justify the means?

The Bible condems those who take the life of an innocent.  How much more innocense is there than that of an unborn child - whether fetus or embryo

The Declaration of Indipendance, one of the United States founding documents declares that all men have a right to life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness.  These are declared to be inalienable rights

The government has declare, in this action, that these rights do not extend to unborn infants.  At what point will they no longer extend to you?

Whether G-d judges this nation for the willing and complicit murder of millions of potential children is not for me to decide.  I pray that my family and those who stand against these actions will be protected from any such judgement.  However, from Biblical evidence, judgment of this nature tends to fall on the wicked and the just.  Basically, if it is raining fire on a city and you are there, bad timing bro'.

Usually, when our government passes legislation or takes an immoral or unbiblical position, a national disaster strikes our nation.  It is rare that any corralation is ever published on those relationships.  There are some who track those relationships.   Let us see whether there is another to add to the list.

Ecclesiastes says there is nothin new under the sun.  As done anciently, so it is today.  People are sacrificing their children so that they may have an easier tomorrow.  Whether the offering be to an idol of stone, wood, bronze, money, or health, it is still an offering.  An innocent life is sacrificed so that others may benefit.

Appearantly, greed really does have no bounds...
