Here is an article never thought I would write. Why? Because I am an internet savvy entrepreneur who knows and understands what works and what doesn't.
Yet, here I am... Fighting for nearly a hundred dollars from a "suppliment" vendor. I saw them advertised on TV, even Oprah had them on. They had a free trial so I figured why not, I'll give it a shot. It it helps, great. If not, it was only shipping.
I didnt knotice anything significant with the product and opted not to order. The company says that when I ordered I agreed to a subscription amount and that would be sent monthly. Funny, I dont remember EVER reading such a thing for their site.
Still I payed with my Paypal mastercard and have already filed a scam notice on them and requested that my money be returned and that further activity from that vendor be blocked.
Waiting for response.
On another note, on the chance that just maybe I missed something in internet marketing (Since my operational costs are not even being met). I ordered an trial to two affiliated internet marketing sites. I noticed in small print at the bottom that there would be $70-$80 monthly service fees that are non refundable at the end of the trial. I figured if they had some useful tools and resources, it may be worth it.
After about an hour working my way around both sites I found that almost all the information is publically available (youtube videos, google, etc). To make matters worse, I am already way beyond what they are teaching.
Nothing useful for me. Certainly not $70-$80 per month per program. After 3days in I called both sites. Got busy signals several times (go figure), but eventually got a rep. One company indicated they would sned me an email confirmation the other gave me a verbal number. I documented date, time and name and everythign that was said.
I used my Paypal MC for the initial charges, so if the decided to charge me anyway, I have recourse and they will not likely get to keep my money. I am monitoring for that.
So, I guess with the proper marketing campaign anyone can be talked into anything.
This may explain the low response rate I get on my affiliate program with Body Balance, possible advertisement on this page or click on product name. A free bottle, no strings attached. Just pay shipping.
Must be a scam too right? I dont think so, I've been using the product for 4 years with GREAT results. When I say great results, I mean my blood, under a dark field microscope, looked significantly better. My blood pressure dropped to normal levels. I felt more energetic and more focused. The AMA may say it is coincidence, may be.
I think the company is doing th egive away because they KNOW that the effect is so quick and long lasting that people will buy.
I signed up as a dstributor to get an additional discount. Plus who knows, I could make some money - but that was not my main focus when I signed up. I have three friend that are making decent money with it. One of them is at about $48,000 per year, and the other two are in some kind of a six figure range ( I see them written up all the time). But they focus on the busines side.
Me? I focus on my businesses, my job, and making sure my body has the correct nutrients to operate properly (Since many trace minerals dont exist in todays food supply). And Body Balance is a key part of that for me.
Despite the free sample bottle, I suspect that the low response is because of all the scam sites out there that really do ripe people off.
I really wish people would try it. Distributor ship signup was free last I checked and that saves a bit. I buy no less than four bottles per month. I have a family of 9. This is currently our sole vitamin mineral suppliment. And because of liquid form, I get almost 90% absorption verses the 10% of a pill.
Still, whether you try this or not, stay away from sites that promise get rich quick or online millions. I've been in the community since the internet became a public format. There is no easy ride. Everything takes work and consistency. Be sure you read all fine print in any online program, use Paypal or a throw away debit card for questionable merchants, and know how to get out of deal before you finalize.
Oh, and google or bing any vendor for reviews before even filling out the first form on any get rich quick site. It will likely save you tons of money and headaches.
