What is it that causes a person to be attracted to one person over another even when everything is equal. For ladies: How is it that you can take 2 guys who are equally good looking, equally smart, and equally popular and yet you'll notice one over the other (for guys, of course the question would be of women). I have found that since I'm married, while I might notice a good looking guy (I'm not dead), noticing is the extent of it and the end - nothing past a quick glance.... But let's go back to the teen-age years.... To my knowledge most girls don't crush on every guy they see. So what causes them to pick one over another (assuming all things are essentially equal). And here's another thought -- Why is it that in some case a young lady will end up attracted to a guy who acts like a complete jerk towards her, teases her or doesn't even notice she's alive. I mean why waste her time on a guy who most likely isn't even interested. Interested to know if anyone has any thoughts or comments on this.
